DESCRIPTION:

A campus network is generally the portion of the enterprise network infrastructure that provides
access to network communication services and resources to end-users and devices that are spread
over a single geographic location. It may be a single building or a group of buildings spread over
an extended geographic area.
The project is to provide a complete network infrastructure that covers all steps from the initial site
survey to equipment acquisition and complete installation, including, the cabling (fiber) backbone,
data center, fire alarm system, and upgrades to a new site for Midland Oil Company. The huge project
links 26 buildings, the project includes more than 8200 Meters of trenches and 20,000 fiber-Meter
of optical cable. The underground cabling infrastructure consists of 40/33 inches plastic ducts in
each trench, depending on cabling demands. Through this project in cooperation with Al-Rasheed
state company IHT Provide, link, configure and test the network system with a data center, and fire alarm
system for each building to be monitored from the main fire station according to the specifications of
the network system and the connection between schemes, systems, and directions of the Supervisor
Engineer.

Installation and Configuration

• Install and configure managed Huawei S5730 Edge Switch for each building from the 26
• Install and Configure High-performance Huawei S7012 Core Switches in the data center.
• Testing the whole LAN of the campus.
